The current CT real estate market is crowded with loads of under valued listings. The buyers with the patience to sift through the deadwood will be the ones to find the hidden values. And they're not always the foreclosed properties. Be patient. Stay informed. But also be ready to close the deal!Some buyers have already missed out on some excellent properties waiting for the further price reductions.

"I'm waiting for the prices to drop."

  Yes, and you've probably have been waiting since the prices started going

up. There are many listings that out there that haven't gotten in line

with the new market realities. But those that reflect the current market

trends (lower) are attracting buyers and selling. Even as markets change you

can still build equity in a home over time creating a nest egg for your

future. This isn't a new idea but many have forgotten it continuing to

look for instant wealth in a home purchase. Those looking for a HOME, not

an investment commodity, will find many good buys in todays market. And

be rewarded by a smart investment in their future.
